2HB Incorporated is seeking a Software Engineer in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.
The successful candidate will design and develop a modernized version of a legacy application performing data translation and forwarding for a key mission capability. The redesigned application will be part of the program's modernized system architecture and be deployed to multiple operational locations. Tier 3 operational support will be required for legacy through transition and new application operations.
Required Skills:Experience developing/refactoring applications in C++ and PythonExperience with socket-based streaming applications and data formatsExperience containerizing applications with DockerExperience with Kubernetes configuration and Helm chart developmentExperience with Linux-based operating systems and command-line interfacesGeneral understanding of RF satellite communications and signal processing
