An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Head of Finance to play a crucial role in shaping and managing the financial landscape of TourAxis and the family of brands. This individual will oversee the financial management of TourAxis and the brands, from compliance, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a scaling-up, matrix-model environment and possess the ability to integrate financial functionality seamlessly into business processes. This individual will also have a hands-on approach to aiding the company's growth and designing teams around business processes and functionality in a matrix model environment. The core purpose of this role is to collaborate with the other high-level industry leaders who have joined us to drive the organisation's growth and success. The role reports to the CEO with dotted line reporting to the CFO.Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Planning :Develop, monitor, and advise financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives;Provide strategic financial insights, support and recommendations to the CEO, executive, senior leadership and process clusters team to support and guide decision-making and drive profitability and growth;Facilitate the annual budgeting and forecasting process;Facilitate strategic advice to process clusters in providing financial insights, analyses and guidance to support decision-making;Financial Operations:Oversee day-to-day financial operations;Oversee the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures;Building out controls and processes to help facilitate better reporting and internal controls as the business grows;Optimise financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and scalability;Business Partnership:Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape financial functionality around business processes;Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue enhancement across the organisation;Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to mitigate risks;Monitor compliance with financial regulations and standards, including submission of monthly ABTOT and ATOL returns;Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements;Preparation of financial reports to present to the CFO;Team Leadership and Development:Build and coach a high-performing team that provides the right skills at the right time and place as required by the organisation’s functions and processes;Provide team members with coaching and professional development opportunities to support their growth and career progression;Set the right deliverables with the correct KPIs aligned with the organisation’s objectives;Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

15+ years’ experience in finance with a proven track record of success in a leadership role;More than 5 years’ experience as Head of Finance or in a similar leadership role reporting to the CFO or CEO;Your work experience is in medium to large sized companies of more than 100 employees headcount, which you have taken an active part in scaling-up and expansion growth;Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field;CA (SA), CIMA or similar qualification would be a plus;Must prove a track record of making impact in scalable business environments experiencing rapid growth;Experience in the travel, hospitality industries would be useful and desirable.Strong understanding of financial systems, regulations, and best practices;Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills;Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities;You will enjoy
