Applications Development Analyst (.Net)Tallahassee, FLLong-term Contract
Job Description:
Client is looking for qualified candidates to provide application analysis, development, and support services. The work will include designing and implementing new application interfaces; supporting the enhancement, maintenance, and operation of existing applications; and technical training/mentoring of existing development staff.
Candidates must have demonstratable experience using the following technologies:
1. SQL Server2. C#.NET3. SP.NET4. JavaScript5. CSS/Bootstrap
Preference will be provided to candidates with demonstratable experience using the following technologies:
1. zure DevOps2. FHIR HL7
Primary Job Duties:Complete the technical design of new application interfaces
Develop prototypes of interfaces and attributes, as needed
Develop new and modify existing software using best practices
Produce technical documentation pertaining to the design and maintenance of software, and system architecture
Plan, develop, and execute test plans and test cases designed to ensure a high level of software and data quality
Verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems utilizing knowledge of software applications and configuration
Conduct research on software and hardware solutions to supportrecommendations, analyzing current and future technology trends
Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer for existing development staff
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Knowledge of computer programming and systems analysis and design principles and practices2. Knowledge of techniques of systems analysis and design3. Knowledge of IT operations, procedures, and systems4. Knowledge of process and data modeling techniques5. Skilled in use of standard desktop software6. Skilled in use of common data analysis tools and languages (such as SQL and Power BI)7. Skilled in creating and implementing software test plans and test cases8. Skilled at writing user and technical documentation9. Skilled in verbal, non-verbal, and written communication10. bility to understand technical subjects and emerging technologies relevant to the organization11. bility to process information logically12. bility to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments13. bility to communicate technical information effectively with non-technical stakeholders14. bility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others15. bility to mentor other developers
