to join our team in providing exceptional veterinary care. We are dedicated to quality health care delivered with the highest levels of compassion, integrity and service for pets and their owners.

Our dedicated doctors are assisted by a caring, knowledgeable and friendly staff committed to outstanding patient and client experiences.In this role, you'll have the opportunity to practice advanced medicine on a diverse range of species, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, exotic mammals and more. Several of our doctors are considered worldwide experts in exotic animal medicine and surgery.

We are seeking a Part Time or Full Time Associate with specialized skills in exotic pet care or a general practitioner passionate about expanding their knowledge in this area.What We OfferCompetitive Salary ($75,000 - $120,000 per year)Production Bonus PayMedical/Dental/Vision insurance (full time)Paid Time OffContinuing Education time off and reimbursementEmployee Referral ProgramFinancial Wellness Program401K plus company matchPaid license fees, VIN/Plumbs membership, and Liability InsuranceWork/Life Balance (me time)CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTSSupports excellence in client experienceWorks collaboratively with HM and Medical DirectorPractices high quality, gold standard medicineExamine, diagnose, and treat animals brought into the veterinary clinic/hospital for medical carePerform surgical procedures as needed, including routine spay/neuter operations as well as more complex surgeriesPrescribe and administer medications, treatments, and preventative care plansCounsel pet owners on animal health, nutrition, behavior, and overall wellbeingInterpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, blood work, etc. and develop treatment plansAssist in emergencies and provide urgent/critical care when neededStay up-to-date on new veterinary techniques, medications, and best practicesCompetencies And ExperienceValid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of CA2+ years of clinical experience, preferredNew grads with internship in exotics considered!Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgmentGood communication skills, both written and verbalTime-management and delegation abilitiesExercises sound judgement and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skillsProfessionalism and courtesy in all interactions with othersPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
