Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Ecommerce Java Developer to join our dynamic development team.
As a Senior Ecommerce Java Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our ecommerce platform's backend components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance systems that enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Java Development:
Design and develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient Java code for ecommerce backend systems.Ecommerce Architecture:
Collaborate with architects and team leads to contribute to the overall design and architecture of our ecommerce platform.System Integration:
Implement and maintain integrations with third-party services, payment gateways, and external APIs to optimize ecommerce operations.Performance Optimization:
Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of backend systems to ensure fast page load times and smooth user experiences.Security:
Implement and adhere to best practices for secure coding and ensure the protection of customer data.Collaboration:
Work closely with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Code Reviews:
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and foster knowledge sharing within the development team.Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ecommerce functionality.Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation and system architecture diagrams.Mentorship:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to their professional growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Proven experience as a Java Developer with a focus on ecommerce projects.Strong proficiency in Java development, including Spring Framework and related technologies.Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar.Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Benefits:
