OPPORTUNITY
The Sales Development Program is tailored to accelerate the growth of exceptionally talented college graduates and seasoned professionals who aspire to thrive in today's dynamic business landscape. This program offers immersive learning experiences, exposing participants to diverse rotations across Hydrite's extensive portfolio of markets and industries. Through these rotations, participants gain invaluable functional knowledge and skills, positioning them for success in commercial roles nationwide, thus contributing to Hydrite's present and future growth objectives.
Our comprehensive 7-12-month program is designed to cultivate and integrate participants' knowledge, skills, and abilities. Alongside formal rotations, participants will have the opportunity to shadow seasoned commercial employees, gaining insights into various techniques and strategies for effective account management. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be well-prepared to assume foundational roles as Account Managers across Hydrite's multiple segments, leveraging their understanding of chemistry to deliver value-added benefits to diverse clientele.
Emphasizing career progression, training, mentorship, and hands-on experience, our program is committed to providing avenues for future growth and development.
The development program will be based in Milwaukee/Brookfield area for 7-12 months. Following completion, relocation may be required. Hydrite will provide relocation assistance to aid participants in their new roles after program completion.
PROGRAM ASSIGNMENTS/ROTATIONS:Customer Experience (3-6 months)
Provide a high level of customer support primarily via email and phone to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment including order entry, inventory availability, lead-time management, and tracking.Utilize independent judgement and problem-solving skills to resolve inquiries and/or discrepancies.Customer inquiry resolution.Gain a strong understanding of Hydrite's ERP system and other order-entry tools.
Technical Center (3 months)
Learn chemistry basics, core product portfolio and applicationsAdhere to safety of the lab and chemical usageProvide technical support and assistance to operations, product management and/or sales groups
Inside Sales (3-6 months)
Launch campaigns and customer calls from MarketingLearn systems necessary to the sales roleBuild foundational sales skills including but not limited to prospecting, cold calling, pipeline management, account management, budgets/quotas, etc. specific to the chemical industry Work closely with the Account Manager and Regional Sales Manager to meet team's annual goals and objectives.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIABS Degree required; Chemistry or Engineering Degree RequiredPrior work history preferredExperience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).Valid driver's license and excellent driving recordAbility to write and speak proficiently.Geographic mobility throughout the program duration is a requirement, and it is recognized that as a company with many locations, relocation will be required. Typical duration of training program is 7-12 months.Placement of position post training program is dependent on Hydrite's needs and available job openings at that current time.BENEFITS
