office-based (role is 100% onsite)Responsibilities:The Nurse Practitioner will:
Assess, diagnose, and treat the healthcare needs of women throughout their lifespan.Provide contraceptive counseling and care.Counsel and provide care before and after menopause.Provide health screening for risk assessment of adults and children dealing with general medical, chronic diseases and HIV/AIDS risk assessment and risk reduction.Refer clients to appropriate primary care and specialty care in partnership with case management staff.Qualifications:
Master's degree in nursingLicensed in CA to practice as a WHNP2+ years experience in women's health or community healthDesired Skills:
Bilingual in Spanish
