We are Hiring at University HospitalLocation: 530 S Jackson St. Louisville KY, 40202Shift Options: FULL-TIME NIGHTS 7P-7AAbout the Unit8 South is a 15-bed neuro/trauma Progressive care unit. This unit cares for patients who are downgraded from intensive care along with receiving patients from the Emergency Room. This unit is comprised of private rooms.Responsibilities:Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.Qualifications:Required QualificationsActive Kentucky registered nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in KentuckyAssociate degree in nursing from an accredited college or universityBasic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)All new graduate RNs will participate in the nurse residency program and successfully complete all activities as required.All new-hire Associate degree registered nurses (new graduate and experienced) are required to start an approved BSN program within one (1) year of hire and complete an approved BSN program within three (3) years of hire.
