Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Responsible for prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently integrating a standards-based framework model.

Qualifications
Other information:All Locations: High school or GED plus trade or vocational school in paramedicine. Current NM Paramedic License required. National EMT License preferred. Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions is required. 2-5 years of experience as a paramedic preferred. Current CPR and ACLS is required. Ability to type 20 wpm preferred.ED/UC: Previous EMS Dispatch experience preferred. 2 years ED patient care experience including triage experience preferredAssociate's degree (any field of study) AND 10 yrs. of direct patient care Paramedic experience OR Bachelors degree (any field of study) AND 5 yrs of direct patient care Paramedic experienceDetailed Responsibilities For Paramedics in the ED setting: Performs care to ED patients as identified in the Paramedic Scope of Practice Education:Essential:* Associate Degree
