Job Description: Technical Skills:• 7+ years technology consulting and/or relevant industry experience• Cloud implementation experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform• Experience hosting an application on GCP using Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Stack Driver, etc• Networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, LoadBalancer, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN, etc.• Experience with Containerization i.e. GKE in GCP• Experience on Google PaaS Services e.g Composer Services, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, etc• Microservices and Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, ECS, etc)• Proficient in a modern scripting language (preferably Python) for automation of build tasks.• Knowledge of linux/powershell scripting is must• Familiarity with security and networking principles and design patterns• Familiarity with agile development methods• Excellent communication and presentation skills
Roles & Responsibilities:• The main responsibility of this role is to technically lead a migration of infra from on-prem to a co-lo location of GCP. Experience of DC migration to GCP will be a must.
