Position Type: Full - Time
Essential Functions:
Administer the OS on all Windows and RedHat equipment.
Currently, approximately 12 appliances.
Apply OS level patches
Familiar with ACAS scans
Perform basic application administration
Administer and manage a VMWare virtual environment.
Windows and RHEL
Sets up administrator and service accounts.
Maintains system documentation. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
Coordinates hardware and software installation and provides backup recovery.
Monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
At least three (3) years of experience in systems administration and analysis is required.
Windows and Linux Operating Systems experience required.
CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
Desired:
Knowledge of RMF framework is a plus.
Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
Education:
BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics
or related field desired.
