RPA Solution Architect

Description:
• Build end to end design required for process automation leveraging Automation Anywhere and industry standard tools.
• Provide recommendation on configuration and specifications of Servers/VMs and other platform/infrastructure components required for the Automation solution.
• Provide design reviews, recommendations, best practices, capacity requirements, security requirements, and operational requirements
• Understand requirements of the client and ensure the Automation solution being developed adheres to these requirements.
• Liaise with client teams for purposes of fulfilling IT and project governance requirements to include but not limited to Architecture review, IT Security Review, etc
• Provide implementation and configuration support as needed to assist customer with any challenges, issues, or blockers during the build phase of the environments
• Work collaboratively with Automation Experts to define solution architecture, designs, and ensure Bot developers follow the COE governed SDLC process by conducting regular code reviews, pre-deployment checklists and UAT procedures.
• Assist with the infrastructure design, build & deployment for RPA solutions
• Support building automation capability and mentor development team
• Anticipate, identify, track and resolve technical issues and risks affecting delivery
• Participate in architecture and deployment of new features
• Must be able to grasp business issues and technical problems, and come up with smart, logical solutions. Strong problem solving capability
• Participate in Business Process releases through release document review, deployment etc.
• Develop strong expertise in the entire module within the product.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5-7 years developing and testing software on a Windows platform and adhering to a structured and documented methodology OR a minimum of 3 years developing and implementing automated Blue Prism processes as an accredited developer and accredited Solution Architect
• Experience and knowledge of Business/System Analysis in a structured environment
• The aptitude to contribute to the evolution of methodologies and procedures in a controlled manner to continually improve a rapid and repeatable delivery channel
• Understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualise it as an automated solution
• A track record in training and mentoring individuals on development and delivery disciplines
• Willingness and ability to blend business analysis with hands-on configuration of automated processes in the Blue Prism product
• The ability to learn quickly and progress rapidly from theoretical exercises to real world delivery and mentoring tasks.
• Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
• Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation
• The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind.
• An understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, formal change control procedures and disciplines.
• An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error.
• A self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team.
