Description

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who will be acting as a DevOps Engineer and shall be responsible for developing and maintaining complex and diverse Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. This position's focus is on automation and efficiency to reduce manual effort and increase the reliability of software builds and deployments.

RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexitySeven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Required Skills:Experience using the Linux CLIExperience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processesExperience with release management best practices including versioning, automation, risk management, and continuous improvementExperience managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languagesExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practicesExperience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCIExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including AnsibleExperience with Dev/Sec/Ops processes and related FOSS toolchainsExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and ContainersExperience with Git Source Control SystemDesired Skills:Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management and collaborationThis position is open for direct hires only. Benefits
