About the Role Assists in the daily clinical operations of the Preop/PACU in accordance with established federal, state and accreditation standards and facility policies and procedures. Participates in direct patient care including maintaining a clean, orderly and safe environment. What You'll Be Doing Exhibit a high degree of maturity, integrity, loyalty, creativity, and strict confidentiality with HIPPA compliance in all daily tasks.Assesses patient/significant others understanding of disease process and need for surgical interventionProvides safe medication administrationManages patient complications/emergencies preoperatively and postoperativelyManages and documents-controlled substance inventoryUtilizes aseptic technique and infection control principles to establish and maintain intravenous accessReports significant patient information to medical staff appropriatelyDocuments patient response during postoperative periodWhat We Expect From You Required Graduate of accredited school of nursingCurrent RN licensePREFERRED ADDITIONAL Two (2) years of clinical experience with an emphasis in PACU, surgery or ERAmbulatory surgery center experienceKnowledge of regulatory standardsElectronic Medical Record ExperienceBLSWhat We are Offer You At US Urology Partners, we are guided by four core values.
