Assure that adequate manpower is provided as required to meet construction schedulesAnalyze and assist general superintendent in determining construction equipment requirements, provide necessary equipment as required to utilize manpower efficiently, and release equipment when not requiredDetermine job requirement quantities for each phase of workDirect and supervise the activities of carpenters, cement finishers, iron workers and laborers in the performance of their regular dutiesInform all supervisors promptly of any construction schedule changesReview and assist project manager in the approval of all requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, progress payment requests, and other significant reports and documentsReport regularly to the project manager to keep them constantly informed on job progress, plans, and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedulesCooperate with the general contractor and representatives, keeping them informed of construction progressMaintain a daily diary to permanently record all significant project facts, events, conditions, visitors, owner representative contacts, commitments, agreements and approvalsDirect adherence to the companys safety program in all phases and areas of the projectBecome familiar with all company policies and adhere strictly to them in all activities and dealings, and require all employees to be aware of them and conform to them in their activitiesAct in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectationsCarry out any additional responsibilities assignedNECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
5-10 years of experience as a working superintendent on tilt-up construction projects, preferably jobs that are a minimum of 100k sq ftWilling to travel as neededPreferred Certifications: Rigging, OSHA 10-hour, aerial lifts, and variable reachHigh school diploma or equivalentPossess and maintain a valid, driver license in your state of residenceAbility to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds.
