We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team of experts onsite in St. Louis (Richmond Heights). Attend meetings with design/build professionals to understand project requirementsResearch and collect site specific information to initiate the land development processDesign and draft land development concept plans for multifamily residential, commercial, and industrial projectsProduce colored renderings of land plansPerform site investigative due diligencePrepare schematic site plan, grading & utility plansPrepare schematic site plans to illustrate site developability based on site constraintsPerform storm water detention analysis, site utility design, and earth work analysis to best inform site planning effort for cost and constructabilityReview project design drawings to assist project management teamWork with contracting team to value engineer sitesAssist with civil/site training for associatesMeet with customers to review concept plans, discuss advantages to multiple approaches, and work to define direction of project with design/build contracting teamNECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
BS in Civil Engineering or other Engineering or Design discipline5-15 years of engineering and land planning experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) license is a plus but not required. ARCO will support the pursuit of licensureAutoCAD and Civil 3D experience requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Project and Excel
