Job Description
This position is onsite in Liverpool, NY.
Raymour Flanigan's Solution Center Team is searching for a highly skilled and motivated Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong understanding of desktop operating systems, routinely thinks outside the box to solve problems quickly and understands what impeccable customer service is all about.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Genuine caring and empathetic advocate in solving our associate support needsExcellent interpersonal communication and listening skillsAbility to work as 'One Team' with associates from all functional areas of our organizationStrong troubleshooting and problem solving skills preferably related to Information TechnologyBasic Microsoft Windows and Office knowledgeThrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentSelf-motivated, highly organized with a keen attention to detailTroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issuesProvide quick resolution and excellent customer serviceRedirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnelKeep record of problems and their resolutionFollow-up with customersMaintain technical documentation on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshootingSet up and configure computers and peripheral equipment such as printers, scanners, tablets, etc.Respond to support requests and assist in troubleshooting any problems that ariseMaintain computer equipment and software to ensure secure and efficient operationsPerform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.Required Skills and Experience
Must have strong time management skills and work productively with minimal supervisionFamiliarity and understanding of the functions of basic computer hardware and softwareStrong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative attitude are a mustMust have sound analytical thinking skills and attention to detailHands on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issuesCustomer-oriented and patientUnderstanding of Microsoft and Apple operating systemsAble to read and understand technical manuals
