The Nursing Simulation Concierge/Facilitator will facilitate quality high-fidelity, mixed modality, and standardized participant learning experiences for undergraduate nursing students in the simulation lab setting. This is not a teaching position.The Nursing Simulation Concierge/Facilitator is responsible for facilitating high fidelity, mixed modality, and standardized patient/participant simulation encounters in the Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The position will serve in the role of Concierge for simulation to facilitate scenario progressions in collaboration with a simulation operationalist and content expert (i.e., clinical instructor). The position will collaborate with simulation staff, faculty, and students during simulation scenarios and will guide debrief sessions following each scenario progression while upholding standards of best practice per INACSL and SSH. We seek applicants who are passionate about working with this promising student population and collaborating with faculty and staff across departments to make a lasting impact in developing our institution and our community.Core Responsibilities:Facilitation of high-fidelity (manikin-based), mixed modality, and standardized participant simulation encounters in the Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.Collaboration with simulation center staff, faculty, and students during simulation sessions.Guide debrief sessions following each scenario progression.Uphold the standards of best practice per INACSL and SSH at all times.Attend ongoing education and training offered by the simulation center to maintain proficiency in the center’s simulation model.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s in nursing or a related field and 2+ years work experience in the field of nursing/healthcare/simulation.American Heart Association BLS certification.Evidence of clinical excellence.Evidence of interest in mentoring and working with undergraduate nursing students.Team player who collaborates with faculty, staff, and students.Familiar with, willing, and able to use computer technology.Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in nursing or a related field.CHSE or CHSOS certification in simulation education (SSH).Experience in facilitating and debriefing high-fidelity simulations.Demonstrate commitment to simulation to support student learning.Incorporation of diversity into simulation teaching.Active in professional organizations related to nursing education and simulation.Hourly Rate:

$48.05 per hour.Hours Worked:

5-10 hours per day, up to 20 hours per week. Weekdays, evenings, and weekends vary as needed.Posting Close Date:
