Qualifications for a CT / X-RAY Technologist:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology programMust be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligible within six (6) monthsBLS CertificationJob Description for a CT / X-RAY Technologist:
Assessing, evaluating, and testing patientsPreparing and positioning patients for imagingAttending to patient needs during imaging proceduresApplying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practicesIndependently performing or assisting a licensed practitioner in performing procedures
