Our Distribution & Sales Support team aspires to maximize the success of our distribution partners and clients. Our knowledgeable and trusted team deliver essential information and support services, with an emphasis on enhancing performance and guiding professional development. We think strategically to build sales and business leadership skills that enable our partners to achieve excellence.

As the Senior Business Analyst you will be a subject matter expert and lead the development of stories (requirements), workflows and procedures, business analysis, acceptance testing, and the implementation of new or enhanced applications to ensure alignment within the program.. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all requirements align with digital standards, enable agile team development, and deliver high quality results.

How you will create impact:

  • Consulting with stakeholders to understand, gather, and document clear and concise business and technology requirements, processes, issues, and risks.
  • Investigating and recommending solutions using sound business judgement while consulting with all affected areas and apply solutions where appropriate.
  • Developing test strategies, planning, and providing work effort estimates while adhering to Business Systems standards, methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Supporting technical design, development, and testing activities by offering subject matter expertise to respond to inquiries, participating in reviews and providing context regarding business needs and requirements.
  • Leading cross functional collaboration across the organization, to implement business initiatives.

To join our team:

  • You have between two to five years of experience as a business analyst, working in an agile environment.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Business or Computer Science.
  • You have or are working towards the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation (Asset)
  • You have a Business Analyst certification or product ownership/project management experience (Asset)
  • You have excellent business and systems knowledge and comprehension of applications, procedures, and workflows.
