at Johns Hopkins is an 18-bed unit with a diverse patient population receiving various types of surgeries in this ICU, including Abdominal Transplant, GI Surgery, Trauma, Vascular Surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine procedures and General Surgery. The SICU team is composed of a unit based multi-disciplinary team. Registered Nurses (RNs) in the SICU take great pride in providing high quality post-operative surgical care every day! have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team. Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. https://jhh.mybenefitsjhhs.com/Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredActive Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience within the most recent 2 years is required (EMT or CRT experience may be considered)BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.Important Notices:*** Effective January 1st 2022, you must be fully vaccinated with an FDA COVID-19 vaccination and provide proof of your vaccination status as part of your occupational health screening. Exceptions to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement may be granted to individuals for religious beliefs or medical reasons by following the proper protocols.
