We are seeking a Senior Travel & Expense Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, the Senior Travel & Expense (T&E) Manager for the Americas region will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across all travel and expense activities within the corporate business travel sector. This position will report directly to the Executive Director Travel & Sustainability and will work closely with regional and global leadership to advance the organization's travel and expense objectives.Who we are looking for
:A dynamic individual who will play a critical role in shaping the future of corporate travel, ensuring that the Americas region remains at the forefront of operational excellence and innovation. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of T&E operations, while delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders, and driving cost efficiencies and compliance across the region.If you are a seasoned professional with exceptional communication skills who has a passion for travel management and a desire to lead a high-performing team, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity!What you'll do:Co-Lead the T&E program across the Americas region, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with global policies and objectives.Provide dynamic leadership to regional travel teams and outsourced partners, fostering a culture of excellence, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.Oversee the management of corporate payment tools, the airline contracts, rental car program, and the small meetings program, ensuring they align with organizational goals and deliver value.Actively manage and analyze T&E reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization and savings.Engage in high-level negotiations with travel vendors to secure favorable terms and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the travel program.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements, applying this insight to drive innovation within the T&E program.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sourcing and project initiatives, contributing to broader procurement and operational strategies.Resolve complex issues and risks associated with travel and expenses, implementing solutions that mitigate impact and support business continuity.Champion compliance and adherence to travel policies, ensuring all activities are conducted within regulatory and ethical guidelines, while delivering superior customer service, addressing the needs and concerns of travelers and stakeholders with professionalism and care.Optimize the end-to-end T&E program, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance user experience and achieve financial targets.Proven experience
(at least 5 years of experience would be preferred)
