The Director, Distributor and Direct Sales will develop, lead and direct all initiatives, programs and sales for Husqvarna’s national distributor accounts and large professional end users including government entities. This position is responsible for developing distributor and direct customer relationships by strategically identifying and addressing growth opportunities for new revenue, profit enhancement, and new points of distribution. The Director, Distributor and Direct Sales is responsible for coaching and leading two Sales Managers and eight indirect reports. This director will lead the planning, forecasting & performance measurements necessary to develop incremental sales and profitable business growth. The Director, Distributor and Direct Sales will work cross functionally with other sales channels and internal teams to achieve results.

What You Need to Know:

Lead the development of Husqvarna’s national distributor sales strategy and plan to grow business in key targeted market segments.Identify and develop new distributors and customers to further distribution in identified professional markets.Cultivate effective relationships with top customers and end users to create an advantage for Husqvarna.Deliver sales results to plan, by category and market.Develop a vigorous 2-3 year strategic channel plan and critical KPIs that will ensure success and achievement.Create financial budget and operate within those respective guidelines.Lead and develop a high performing sales team.Assist in the development of pricing tactics, programs and processes needed to achieve agreed upon sales and profitability targets and objectives.Facilitates alignment between the sales group and the balance of the organization.Assess, through sales reports, surveys and other reconnaissance, the performance and support of the company to the customers’ expectations. Formulates and implements solutions that address gaps. Deliver the Great Experience.Work cross-functionally to influence for process improvement in support of our Go-To-Market models.Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Advertising, Supply Chain, etc., to develop or refine sales and promotional campaigns or to craft extemporaneous programs that respond to the competition.Assesses competitive activities and strategies.What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience in a sales leadership capacity.Successful sales experience in the B2B and Business to Distributor channels.Ability to navigate cross-functionally to clear barriers and identify opportunities to create strategic product focused partnerships with customers.Proven ability to lead through influence with a proven track record of associate retention.Aggressive growth mind set and an ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result driven, team-oriented environment.Demonstrates an understanding of complexities with interacting with major large commercial business distributors and customers.Knowledge and experience with software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) including presentation and database applications.Last date to apply:
