Postdoctoral Position in Dr. Andrew Lane's Laboratory

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Andrew Lane ( lanelab.dana-farber.org ) in the Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School. The lab focuses on leukemia and lymphoma biology, cancer genetics, and resistance to therapy.Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life-changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care. We strive to create an inclusive, diverse, and equitable environment where we provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients of all backgrounds and design programs to promote public health, particularly among high-risk and underserved populations.We are looking for candidates who share our excitement to develop new insights about cancer biology with the ultimate goal of developing new treatment approaches. Projects will be fit with candidates' experience and specific interests. Areas of the lab’s interest include leukemia and lymphoma biology (pathogenesis, hematopoiesis, and stem cells), dendritic cells (development, function, and transformation), mechanisms of resistance to cancer therapy, and cancer genetics including sex differences in malignancy. Opportunities also exist for collaborative projects with the Cancer Program at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT.Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, have excellent teamwork and communication skills. A PhD, MD, MD-PhD, or doctoral equivalent is required. Candidates with bioinformatic and programming skills for analysis of sequencing-based (DNA, RNA, epigenetic) datasets will be considered.
