Proofreader Description
Website Depot is seeking a part-time professional proficient in English writing to be a proofreader for a high volume of written content created for our company, its affiliate companies, and our clients.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of written content types, such as copy for the homepages of websites, commercial scripts, press releases, blogs, digital and print advertisements, and other materials focused on marketing. The candidate will work closely with various departments at Website Depot, including design, web development, advertising, and search engine optimization teams. Our goal is to refine and perfect the finished product from various writers. You must ensure proper spelling, structure, syntax, grammar, and accuracy.
A large part of the work will be conducted using collaborative software. The candidate will preferably have experience in cloud-based file management systems to maintain workflow and organization of written pieces.
