The team works collaboratively across business areas to maximise opportunities for the development and delivery of training and engagement activities. The team is compromised of the following areas: Education, Engagement and Design and Strategy and Governance.Overview of the RoleThe Senior Trainer will support Comcare to achieve its strategic objectives by facilitating training and education programs to the Comcare Scheme, to achieve the object and intent of the
Commonwealth Work Health and Safety Act 2011
(WHS Act),
the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988
(SRC Act).As the Senior Trainer, you will facilitate training programs using a blended learning approach and, when appropriate, partner with the business to guide the consistent delivery of training content. You will have a collaborative working style and work closely with Assistant Directors, senior management and other key stakeholders on training development, delivery and evaluation.Mandatory ExperienceDemonstrated experience in designing, delivering and implementing educational projects, programs and courses.Demonstrated experience facilitating content in a corporate environment, to a range of leadership levels on sensitive topics and technical content.Desirable Qualifications and ExperienceCertificate IV in Training and Assessment, or other relevant qualificationSkills and experience in virtual facilitation platforms (e.g. MS Teams; Adobe Connect etc)A sound knowledge of the WHS Act and/or the SRC ActEligibility and Specific Conditions of EmploymentCharacter clearance (police records check).Health clearance.Six months probationary period for new engagements.Special Conditions:
Ability to travel occasionally including overnight absences.
