Data Analyst (HYBRID)The Data Analyst provides strategic and tactical support to the organization by analyzing and interpreting the data to provide creative solutions. Generates graphs, charts, and other results to accurately describe customer supplied data files as required for material handling consulting activities. Work directly with clients and project leaders to identify analytical requirements. Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining.Responsibilities

Essential:Bachelors Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or EconomicsStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.Able to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of an organizationExceptional MS Excel and MS Access SkillsExperience developing business case scenarios and modelsKnowledge of statistical methodologies and techniquesBusiness awareness and numerical abilityMust possess solid communication skillsWillingness to adhere to all principles of confidentialityMust value operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment.Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAbility to apply qualitative and quantitative assessments of data.Desired:Experience managing external vendorsExperience developing and executing simulationsExperience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files: analyzing file structure, using and creating file layouts, transforming raw data into finished products.Experience with ExtendSim, Arena, AutoMod or similar simulation packages.Good knowledge of Visual Basic in Access and ExcelDemonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data required.Experience with operational research
