The Miami office of Kubicki Draper is currently seeking a paralegal with 3+ years of civil litigation experience. Prior insurance defense is required. Experience in premises liability, construction defects and insurance coverage litigation, highly preferred.Must be proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office and ExcelDraft and review vital pleadings and motions, respond to discoveries, and drive motionsCommunicate in a highly effective manner with colleagues and clientsAbility to work in a fast-paced, evolving environmentWhat You Bring:Prior experience in insurance defense litigation and/or general liability, preferredPrior experience in reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills, preferredExcellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills neededWorking knowledge of Florida Court procedures preferredYour Day to Day:Summarize medical records, bills and supporting documents, as well as create medical chronologies and bill summariesCommunicate with clients, carriers, and counsel effectively in a team environmentCompetent in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe & ExcelMust be task orientated.Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environmentPerks of Being with Us:
