As a
Lead Front End Software Engineer,
you will be part of a cross-functional team, applying your skill, experience and creativity towards building scalable and high performing experiences to every customer. You will help with technical decisions and partner with stakeholders cross-functionally to develop user-facing workflows and features. You will work in a highly collaborative environment, solving exciting problems while leveraging best engineering practices. We work full-stack and the team owns features end-to-end. On our teams, we're working daily with product, and design to understand the problem and translate learnings into a pragmatic and effective solution. We happily pull in a peer when we need a pair to get through a tough problem or just for a second pair of eyes. We are always balancing new feature development with efforts to continuously improve both our efficiency and our infrastructure.Responsibilities:Help set technical standards and best practices for the front-end teamBuild modular layouts, reusable code and libraries for future useOptimize application for maximum speed and scalabilityTransform large and complex datasets to beautiful visualizationsImplement compelling, usable UIs; contribute to their design; and engineer them with Angular, TypeScript and ReduxDevelop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizationsData-Driven Design: Lead the development of our consumer UI/UX with a keen focus on user behaviorExperience with sustainable engineering practices such as automated testing (TDD), continuous integration, continuous deployment, and monitoring / alerting.Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainability.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software architecture, design decisions, and coding practices.Optimize the visualizations for performance, usability, and accessibilityCollaborate with product owners to prioritize features and deliverables.Strong fundamentals, with overlap across our tech stack (Java, SpringBoot, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, Docker, Azure Cloud Services, Kubernetes, Terraform)A passion for learning from and collaborating with a diverse, talented team and mentoring junior team members.Qualifications and Skills:Degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.This position requires a deep understanding of front-end development principles, a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences, and expertise in various front-end technologiesMinimum 5+ years working in front-end developmentThe ability to simplify and streamline complex problems.You enjoy staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Strong experience in all aspects of client-side performance optimizationCollaborate with the development team to integrate with existing data architecture.Knowledge of back-end technologies and how they integrate with front-end systemsExcellent communication skills - you can effectively work with engineers but at the same time collaborate with product owners and deliver robust cloud-based solutions.Preferred Skills:Experience in Ad Tech industryAngular 15+ experienceExperience in implementing metadata-driven, interconnected front-end elementsExpert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular and other front-end technologiesExperience with responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility and web accessibilityExperience with front end testing frameworksExperience with RESTful APIs and JSONExperience with version control systems such as GitExperience with agile methodologies such as Scrum
