We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.Role DescriptionTerawatt is at the forefront of creating a pioneering asset class in EV charging infrastructure to cater to the burgeoning fleet EV market. As a Lead Product Manager, you will be instrumental in spearheading the development of innovative products that bolster our operations teams to manage highly reliable charging operations efficiently.The key function of the Lead Product Manager will be to articulate a product vision that is responsive to our customer’s needs and operations conditions. You will develop a deep understanding of the industry and create a product roadmap that will meet the unique needs of various fleets. The Lead Product Manager will work in close collaboration with and drive alignment of our internal Engineering, Operations, Finance, Hardware, and Project Development teams.In this nascent market, our customers’ needs and the available technology are rapidly evolving, requiring responsive and dynamic operations responses. In many cases, customers will be engaging with a charging product for the first time, and you will be responsible for defining their customer support experience.Core ResponsibilitiesCraft and articulate a forward-looking product vision aligned with customer needs and market dynamics. Acquire a comprehensive industry insight to forge a tailored product roadmap addressing the distinct requirements of varied fleets.Work intimately with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Hardware, and Project Development teams to foster alignment and drive collective action toward shared objectives.Directly interact with customers and partners to gather essential insights into their needs and expectations, translating this feedback into groundbreaking product innovations.Elevate the Terawatt customer support experience by pinpointing improvement opportunities and devising products that address these needs.Innovate and swiftly develop creative product solutions that delight customers and adapt to the evolving electrification landscape.Utilize exceptional technical, analytical, and communicative skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, including but not limited to customers and executives.Innovate by implementing data-driven frameworks to improve operational and investment decision-making, enabling effective resource allocation and risk reduction.Act as a leading evangelist for the electrification of transport and Terawatt’s pivotal role in its realization.Preferred QualificationsAt least six years of experience in product management or a closely related field within the electric vehicle charging, energy, transportation, or technology sectors.Significant exposure to electric vehicle charging and a comprehensive understanding of its technical aspects.Demonstrated ability to innovate and implement comprehensive solutions catering to customer needs.Proficiency in managing product roadmaps, developing new processes, and launching new products.Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to achieve consensus, integrate feedback from diverse subject matter experts, and demonstrate emotional intelligence.Don’t meet every single requirement? This salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
