Disney Entertainment and ESPN Technology is seeking a Senior Data Product Manager II within its Commerce, Growth and Identity (CGI) organization. In this role, you will deliver data products and solutions for the Acquisition Marketing vertical of Disney Streaming. The ideal candidate is an experienced data product manager, capable of building products from ideas and with a proven track record of managing multi-year product roadmaps. This candidate builds fantastic relationships across all levels of the organizations and is recognized as a problem solver that looks to elevate the work of everyone around them. Products developed by this team will enable data-driven decision making, in-depth analysis of marketing performance and its impact on subscriber acquisition, retention, and growing revenue for Disney’s flagship streaming brands including Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu. Successful candidates will have experience in technical product management developing tools for data management, activation, and reporting for digital media, multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling, and multi-channel performance reporting in acquisition marketing domain. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Acquisition Marketing and partners closely with leadership across marketing, engineering, analytics, consumer products, data science, and finance to develop forward-looking strategies leveraging Disney’s data assets and capabilities to maximize subscriber growth, enhance user experience, and engage our customers in innovative ways.
Responsibilities
Collaborating with the Senior Manager of the Acquisition Marketing Data Product Management team to define and execute an overall strategy.
Take on global vendor integrations, develop measurement plans and build measurement dashboard roadmap for data products and capabilities aligned to organizational and business goals
Develop and maintain critical business relationships throughout the organization, ensure leaders are consistently well informed about business priorities, capabilities, timelines, issues, and releases.
Build strategic relationships with key technology and business partners to ensure program success.
Partner with Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Quality & Governance, Product Design, and other Technical Program Management team members to develop, test, and deliver high quality products and features.
Lead and drive teams on all business readiness activities, including product planning, sequencing, testing, user education, rollout, iteration, and support.
Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
Identify risks, resolve key blockers, and establish appropriate resolution paths.
Champion a collaborative work environment that cultivates shared understanding, transparency, autonomy, innovation, and continuous learning.
Possess strong knowledge of data, BI/analytics, and related technology vendors and ecosystems.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years in product management experience with building and delivering successful data products, services and capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge and experience with marketing technology, web technologies, and data management technology in support of marketing/advertising (Datorama, Facebook, Google, Ad campaign management, web tagging, mobile SDKs & ID tracking etc)
Planning acumen and proven ability to break down work and define an MVP, as well as subsequent iterations.
Understanding of and ability to decipher/write SQL code.
Highly analytical and collaborative qualities with strong technical, strategic and problem-solving skills.
Experience working directly with data engineering teams, managing roadmaps, and communicating technical information to executives.
Experience solving problems in an ambiguous environment with constant change. Tenacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, inspire change, and collaborate with various individuals and organizational partners.
Experience utilizing both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques and familiarity with common approaches to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Math, Science, Economics, or equivalent.
Advance CS degree or MBA is a plus
Shown experience in video streaming and OTT
Experience with Looker, Tableau or other visualization tools
Working knowledge of social platform tools (like Meta Ads Manager, DV360, Snapchat Ads Manager, X).
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Agile development practices.
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA and in Bristol, CT is $149,300 to $200,200 per year, in New York, NY and in Seattle, WA is $156,300 to $209,600 per year, and in San Francisco, CA is $163,500 to $219,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
