Job Description

As a leading player in the harm reduction sector, we seek a dynamic and results-driven professional to join us as Director of Sales for the USA. This pivotal role requires strategic leadership and a proven track record in sales, preferably within the nicotine, vapes, or cigarettes industry.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results-oriented Director of Sales to lead our national sales efforts. This individual will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team, developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve aggressive growth targets, and establishing strong relationships with distributors and retailers across the USA.

Role Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company's goals, focusing on driving revenue growth.

Team Management: Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure individual and collective success.

Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, including the establishment of key partnerships and collaborations to strengthen the company's presence in the region.

Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.

Sales Performance Analysis: Implement robust reporting mechanisms to analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize revenue streams.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the nicotine, vapes, or cigarettes industry.

Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth.

Advanced understanding of distribution strategies, margins and how to manage margins and relationships across the value chain.

Understanding of harm reduction landscape including category regulations.

Pre-existing relationships with distributors and wholesalers in the USA.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing sales teams.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and leverage insights for business success.

Willing to travel in the market 25% of the time.

Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and evolving industry landscape.

While experience in the nicotine, vapes, or cigarettes industry is preferred, candidates with a strong background in strategic CPG sales leadership will also be considered.
