Cybersecurity and Energy Infrastructure Analysis Leader

KeyLogic is the prime contractor at the

Department of Energy (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) , a leading research institution in energy technology development and analysis. We are currently seeking talented and motivated Energy and Program Support Leaders to join our team and support the Critical Energy Infrastructure and Risk Analysis program within the

Department of Energy's Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER).

Position Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Resource Allocation

Facilitate the development and execution of organizational strategies, including cybersecurity initiatives, aligning with CESER’s mission and goals while supporting resource and budget planning activities.

Provide leadership in energy infrastructure security including the planning and execution of response strategies for potential security incidents and emergencies affecting the energy sector.

Direct the implementation of cutting-edge technologies and innovative practices in cybersecurity, physical security, and risk management to protect critical infrastructure assets.

Define and articulate the organization's strategic vision to maximize mission impact, aligning operational goals with long-term objectives to ensure the security and resilience of critical energy infrastructure.

Foster strategic partnerships with government agencies, industry leaders, and international bodies to align security practices and collaborate on global energy security challenges.

Technical Strategy and Innovation

Develop and implement technical strategies, perform gap analysis against industry best practices, and drive technology innovation to meet emerging requirements, ensuring CESER’s technical capabilities are forward-looking and effective.

Lead and/or conduct in-depth analysis of critical energy infrastructure vulnerabilities, risks, and resilience measures.

Support development of models and simulations to assess the impact of potential threats on energy infrastructure.

Produce comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders as part of C-Suite communication.

Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to critical energy infrastructure.

Position Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Sciences, or related discipline; advanced Degree is preferred.

Experience: 10+ years in energy analysis, strategic planning, project and resource management.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working on projects related to critical energy infrastructure protection and resilience.

Familiarity with cyber and energy security relevant federal regulations and policies.

Salary Range: $150K - $250K
