Position Summary:The Data Analyst provides cross-functional support with routine and project level data to better identify risks, validate key assumptions and trends, and make recommendations based on findings. They will be responsible for building and maintaining data visualizations, transforming and analyzing data, and providing support to various departments by identifying problems and presenting solutions. They must be able to manage multiple short and long-term projects at a time and assist with implementing scalable business improvements.Data Analyst critical responsibilities:Collect, store, transform, and analyze data to identify problems and make recommendations to support overall business objectives and growth.Create detailed reports using data reporting tools and provide insights based on findings.Perform quality assurance reporting to ensure output is accurate and within control parameters.Build and maintain data visuals that are accurate, scalable, and informative.Write efficient queries to retrieve and extract needed information.Create clear and concise reports and visualizations using Power BI and Python that summarize findings and communicate insights to stakeholders.Participate in cross-functional projects with other departments and the senior management team.Utilize data analysis to identify areas of growth and opportunity and identify risks.Stay abreast of changes in reporting/analytic tools and techniques to grow and expand their capabilities.Create and manage reports to track project progress and provide regular updates to various departments and leadership.Qualifications of a strong candidate:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field required.3-5 years of experience with large data set analysis, transformation, and data modeling.Proficiency in Power BI, Python, or SQL required.Proven experience with identifying problems and making scalable recommendations based on findings.Prior experience with probability statistics preferred.Experience with financial and/or operational data analysis.Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills.Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.All Points Broadband is a leading, rural-facing internet service provider in the mid-Atlantic and believes everyone should be able to work, study, play, and
