Your scope will include underlying services that offer up-to-date high-quality shopping datasets, to be used by LLMs during inference.You will work on offering extensible offerings to enable multiple teams to leverage our science-based product offerings.You will work closely with our product, science, and engineering leaders to drive the technical vision and roadmap.You will lead a talented engineering team, hire, mentor, and inspire a vision that solves critical customer problems and propels Amazon solutions in this important area.Minimum Requirements

3+ years of engineering team management experience7+ years of engineering experience8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experienceKnowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operationsExperience partnering with product or program management teamsExperience in building generative AI applications or leveraging LLM datasetsExperience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategyExperience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineersAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $166,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $287,700/year in our highest geographic market.
