Job Title: Assembler BJob Duration: 3 monthsEst. Pay Range: $27/hr- $34/hrWork Type: On Site
Overview/ Responsibilities:Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performs the processes necessary for the fabrication and production of Solar Cells, including Photolithography, Cap Etch/Window Clean, Thinning, Lift-Off, Evaporation, Sinter, Saw-Dice, Lot Code, electrical testing, microscope inspection and Silicon Diodes.Performs the processes necessary for growth of semiconductors, including operation of MOCVD vacuum system, Metal Organic material handling and X-Ray Diffraction.Performs a variety of technical manufacturing production assembly operations where accurate visual acuity and manual dexterity are required to fabricate production solar cell assemblies and solar panels for space applications.Perform hand soldering, wire harness assembly and component bondingComplete documentation accuratelyOperates tools and equipment such as wire strippers, crimpers, solder iron, wire identification and associated toolsAdheres to established company policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulationsDemonstrated experience using a computer to look up and record information (Excel & Word)This position requires the ability to work first or second shiftAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructionsReliable, mechanically inclined, detail orientatedAbility to work in a team atmosphere and displays a positive attitudeEffective verbal and written communication skillsWork overtime as requiredMust be able to lift a minimum of20 lbs.Must wear a smock, hair cover, and gloves during workRequires accurate visual acuityMicrosoft Excel, Word and Power point experience.Inspection Under Microscope experienceAssembly of small partsWeld / Soldering experienceSit or stand for more than 8 hours a day.Required Skills/ Qualification/ Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent or military/ work experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)Minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environmentAbility to lift 20lbs
