Luminary Group is proud to partner with a leading medical device business in the USA, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Technical Lead to join our team. As the Program Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in driving the technical direction and successful delivery of complex medical device projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee the technical aspects of the program, and ensure the successful implementation of innovative solutions.Responsibilities:
Lead and manage cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for complex medical device programs.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand program requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Oversee the design, development, and implementation of medical device solutions, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices.Monitor program progress, identify risks and issues, and develop and implement effective mitigation strategies.Ensure timely delivery of program milestones and deliverables, managing dependencies and prioritizing tasks.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and drive their adoption within the organization.Manage vendor relationships and partnerships, ensuring successful integration and delivery of external solutions.Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and challenges.Provide regular program updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.Ensure program compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical program management or similar roles, preferably in the medical device industry.Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams in agile development environments.Strong knowledge of software and hardware development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.Experience with medical device solutions and familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.Proficiency in project management frameworks and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.Experience with vendor management and external solution integration is preferred.Understanding of regulatory considerations and compliance requirements in the medical device industry is a plus.
