Associate Pastor

Round Hill Community Church, an unaffiliated, inclusive Christian church in Greenwich, Connecticut, seeks an Associate Pastor with a vocational calling to youth ministry and creation of an innovative program for the development of moral and spiritual leadership for youth. The Associate Pastor will also provide some pastoral care and participate in the weekly worship service with opportunities to preach to the congregation and participate in church podcasts.The Church, with approximately 200 members, includes people of all ages and backgrounds. Members commit time and resources to education, fellowship, and helping those in need locally and in the broader world. To honor God’s creation, the Church has an active program of Green Initiatives. The Church commits at least ten percent of its operating budget annually to outreach programs. Youth education includes Church School, youth group, and family events throughout the year.The Church seeks an ordained minister with 3-5 years of relevant work experience. The Associate Pastor will report directly to the Senior Pastor.Position PurposeTo plan and implement all aspects of a ministry with children and youth focused on the creation of an innovative and groundbreaking program for the development of moral and spiritual leadership for children and youth.To participate in the weekly worship service, including opportunities to preach to the congregation, assist in creating child-inclusive worship services, and participate in our program of digital ministries.To work with our Faith in Action team to develop opportunities for children/youth to participate in church outreach activities and to work with our Eco Action team on child and youth participation in the church’s Green Initiatives.Job Type:
