JOB SUMMARY **

We are actively looking for a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will play a key role in conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing ongoing support and supervision to our clients and their families. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and functional analyses (FAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.

Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based strategies and techniques.

Provide direct one-on-one behavior therapy to clients, implementing behavior intervention plans with fidelity and making data-driven decisions.

Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to establish treatment goals and objectives and monitor progress.

Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members to ensure the consistent implementation of behavior intervention plans.

Conduct regular progress assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for clients and their families.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Provide training to educate team members on behavior reduction, crisis management, and skill acquisition as part of a BIP.

Stay current on the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and participate in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience providing behavior analysis services to individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a clinical or school-based setting.

Strong clinical skills in conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to inform treatment planning and monitor progress.

Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing the practice of applied behavior analysis (ABA) in Connecticut.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
