www.kfi-eng.com . Position Overview & Responsibilities: Collaborate with the firm's President, Vice Presidents, CFO, and other Directors to manage companywide operations. Support project management excellence, resourcing, tools, training, and end-to-end project guidance. Maintain an objective point of view and adjust focus based on enterprise impacts. Receive annual budget and backlog goals, advising on resource planning. Forecast annual talent hiring needs in partnership with the senior team and HR. Drive consistency in Project Manager focus areas, processes, systems, and tools. Create and implement common design, software, and project management standards. Facilitate staff sharing and right-sizing activities to support established billable rate goals. Work with Operations Directors to improve key success metrics such as profitability and efficiency. Evaluate and streamline the contractual approval process. Provide coaching and mentoring to the Chair of the Project Management Operational Excellence Committee. Evaluate current Project Management support structure and needed resources for development. Oversee project management aspects of the firm's ERP software system. Develop dashboards and reports for project performance data. Support marketing and HR in creating relevant dashboards and reports. Lead annual Project Manager training and development efforts. Prepare for and attend KFI management and board meetings. Work with the senior leadership team to formulate and update corporate policies. Evaluate monthly financial performance reports to improve profitability. Review, analyze, and recommend improvements to business procedures. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field. Minimum of 15 years' experience managing projects in the design and construction industry. Experience drafting or reviewing contracts in a construction setting. Design and project management experience across various markets. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport. Self-directed but thrives in collaborative environments. Skills in tactical analyses, effective meeting management, and communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Deltek Vantagepoint/Vision or other ERP applications. Ability to deliver constructive feedback and develop procedures. Willingness to travel to other KFI office locations regularly. Preferred: Registration/Licensure strongly preferred. Core Behaviors: Accountable: Demonstrates persistence and responsibility.
