Advise and assist Program/Project Managers (PMs) in budgeting, financial management, cost calculation, and programmatic activities by following financial management processes and programmatic principles. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and applicability of inputs/advice.Assist in the preparation and justification of the program budget and program status informational briefings.Assist in compilation and reporting of programs and budgets, preparation of presentations and other materials to support the programming and budgeting processes, and preparation of program/project and budget information.Assist in the preparation of budget build documentation and spend plans for internal and external review.Review and submit maintenance/labor/one-time equipment buy purchases to the financial manager for requisitions to get processed. Submit and complete Procurement Authorization Request (PAR), Baseline Exception Request (BER), Acquisition Security Form (ASF) for purchases.Employ analytic processes on business and financial data to define the problem, develop models and tools, test hypotheses, and provide solutions and/or alternatives to decision-makers based on sound, scientific, and quantitative information.What you will need

Twelve (12) years of demonstrated combined experience in DoD/IC program management, contract management, and/or financial management, and a Bachelor's Degree with a business or technical focus is required.In lieu of a degree, Project Management Institute PMP certification, Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certification, or DA WIA Level III in any focus area, and an additional three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of fifteen (15) years may be substituted.Familiarity with Plan-It is preferred. In lieu of certification, an additional three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of eighteen (18) years may be substituted.Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel is required to include demonstrated use of pivot tables, slicers, and pivot charts.What we Offer
