Job OverviewAniLocus is seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Study Director for Neuroscience

to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead and manage preclinical studies in the neuroscience therapeutic area, ensuring the highest quality standards and scientific rigor.

Responsibilities

Study Management:

Design, plan, and oversee preclinical neuroscience studies, including study protocol development, execution, data analysis, and reporting.

Ensure studies are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements, GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) standards, and AniLocus SOPs.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including pharmacology, toxicology, histology, and immunogenicity, to ensure seamless study execution.

Scientific Leadership:

Provide scientific and technical expertise in neuroscience research, including experimental design, model selection, and data interpretation.

Stay current with advancements in neuroscience research and incorporate new methodologies and technologies into study designs.

Mentor and train junior scientists and technical staff.

Client Engagement:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on study progress and addressing any concerns.

Participate in client meetings, presentations, and discussions to support business development and foster strong client relationships.

Contribute to the preparation of study proposals and cost estimates.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze and interpret study data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Prepare comprehensive study reports, manuscripts, and presentations for clients and scientific conferences.

Collaborate with the data management team to ensure proper documentation and archiving of study data.

Skills & Qualifications

PhD in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, or a related field, with a strong background in preclinical research.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology setting, with a focus on neuroscience studies.

Proven track record of designing, managing, and reporting preclinical neuroscience studies.

In-depth knowledge of GLP regulations, study design, and data analysis techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple studies simultaneously.

Proficiency in data analysis software and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

Salary and Benefits

Salary:

$82,000 and $129,500 USD. Negotiable and based on experience, qualifications, and market rates for Germantown, Maryland.
