Job Description

Position Summary:

Pick up and deliver meals from the Detroit Harbor Light location to the Monroe Harbor Light location.

Essential Responsibilities:

Drive van on route making predetermined stops according to scheduleLoad and unload meals on the vanPick up and/or delivery of donated items as assignedComplete daily maintenance check of van and report problems to designated personMaintain cleanliness of van while on route and thoroughly clean truck after route is completedSafely operate vehicle and follow all ruling roadAdditional Responsibilities:

Valid Michigan Chauffeur license and approved by The Salvation Army MVRPhysical Demands :

Must be able to lift 50 poundsAbility to bend, reach, stoop and stand for long periods of timeFrequent filling, shifting, and moving of pots and equipmentAbility to safely operate a motor vehicle in accordance with the MDOT regulationsWork Environment:
