The Lecturer/Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Psychology Program in the College of Education is a 10-month appointment at Troy University’s Troy Campus. This position is responsible for teaching an array of undergraduate psychology courses such as general psychology, social psychology, abnormal psychology, cognitive psychology, life-span, and developmental courses within the area of expertise; pursuit of scholarship and a research agenda; service on committees at all levels; involvement in service to the community; advisement of undergraduate students; and other responsibilities as identified by the supervisor. Faculty rank will be dependent on experience and training.Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Psychology or related field (for Lecturer rank)Earned doctorate degree in a field of Psychology (for Assistant/Associate Professor rank)Teaching experience at no less than a two-year collegePreferred Qualifications
Earned doctorate degree in PsychologyTeaching experience at the university levelTeaching experience in an online environmentProfessional experience in a field of PsychologyWork Hours
Work hours will be determined by Dean/Chair and university faculty guidelines; position will be expected to maintain office hours on the Troy campus as required by the College of Education.Required Documents
