The Preventative Health Officer (PHO) plays a key role in the development and implementation of preventative health programming Agency-wide by utilizing their unique health-promotion background.Full timeHigher starting salary possible depending on experience levelU.S. citizens (dual U.S. citizens also eligible)At least 18 years of ageWilling to move to the Washington, DC areaAble to complete security and medical evaluationsAs a Preventative Health (PHO) Officer for CIA, you will work in a multidisciplinary environment, supporting, developing, and leading diverse preventative-health programming initiatives.The entry-level PHO assists management in the development of preventative-health programs for all Agency personnel, utilizing their unique health-promotion background to support the Center for Global Health Services mission.The full-performance PHO provides a leadership role in guiding and developing support solutions for senior management, within a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. They will lead, manage, and motivate staff and contractor team members to provide Agency health and wellness services where needed.The expert-level PHO will manage programs across the enterprise and provide direct support and influence to Agency senior management in problem-solving and strategic planning.Who You’ll Work With

Laboratory Sciences or other related Health/Wellness disciplinePersonal TrainingPhysical TherapyClinical PathologyHealth EducationAt least five years relevant work experience.Master’s degree in the above specialties, or other related Health/Wellness discipline.
