Job SummaryProgram and commission Tridium Niagara and Distech DDC controls per engineered sequences of operations.Essential DutiesProgram Siemens PPCL, DXRS, and Desigo systems.Program Distech Controls Systems.Program Tridium Niagara AX and N4 systems.Test DDC control sequences based on engineered drawings.Integrate building equipment using LonWorks, BACnet, Modbus, and third-party protocols.Startup and commission DDC systems.Train customers.Document startup and commissioning reports.Provide as-built drawings to DDC engineer.Update project manager daily.Understand PCs and computer networking.Working ConditionsWork is split between the office and customer facilities. Travel to client sites is required, with exposure to various weather and site conditions. Physical demands include sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and fine finger dexterity.QualificationsPost-high school vocational school, related experience, or an associate's degree.Minimum 3 years of DDC controls programming experience.Knowledge of BAS controls concepts and applications.Understanding of commercial building mechanical and electrical operations.Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination.Skills and KnowledgeProfessional appearance and behaviour.Ability to prioritize and organize tasks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Mature judgement.Self-starter with a desire for continuous learning.Siemens Controls (Talon and/or DXR) programming experience preferred.Tridium AX or N4 certification is a plus.Experience with Distech BACnet, LonWorks, web-enabled building automation, BAS graphics generation, and IP LAN/WAN including routers.BenefitsMedical, Vision, Dental insuranceCompany-paid short and long-term disability and life insuranceFSA401k with company match and profit-sharing planAccident and critical illness coverageThree weeks of paid time off in the first yearPaid holidaysWellness incentives
