Senior Financial Auditor
Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Auditor for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.
Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate the bank’s risk areas and provide input to develop the Annual Audit Plan.
Execute audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
Conduct interviews, review documents, develop and administer surveys, compose summary memos, and prepare working papers.
Identify, develop, and document audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.
Communicate or assist in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management and the Board of Directors.
Foster productive internal and external relationships.
Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor (4-year college) degree.
3+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Accounting Experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
CRCM, CIA, CPA, CBA or CAMS may substitute for one year of required experience.
