Contribute towards the design and development of building scalable, robust, and industry-best-practice compliant backend applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product managers, UX designers, technical program managers, engineering managers and backend engineers, to successfully deliver projects with high quality and within the agreed upon timelines.Collaborate with Tech leads (TL) and Engineering Managers (EM) to create a healthy backlog of features and tech debt by working with cross functional teams - TPMs, Product team, etc.Be the owner for a focus area within the larger domain of the backend application ecosystem.Be responsible to review the code and enforce stricter code review processes to ensure that code is of high quality, consistent, and aligned with established coding standards.Monitor production issues and prioritize the current work by collaborating with TLs and EMs.Collaborate with junior developers and contractors to facilitate team expansion, offering necessary support for onboarding and bridging technical and domain knowledge gaps.Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience5 years of experience in software design and development using Java2 years of experience in building microservices APIs and infrastructure.Solid understanding of Database systems - RDMS, NoSQL, etc.Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written EnglishPreferred qualifications:

Experience as a full stack developer with working experience in single page applications (SPA), Android or iOS applications.Experience as TL for a small/medium sized development team.Working knowledge of test automation tools like selenium to develop integration and E2E tests.Working Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines to build, deploy and test, virtualize dependencies for MicroservicesEnabler of new ideas, have a strong product mindset. Embrace bottom up ideation.The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $133K - $194K + bonus + equity + benefits.
