The team works at the intersection of advanced research and product development, aiming to both push the boundary of the state-of-the-art while simultaneously impacting the world by deploying these advances commercially. We actively work and collaborate with a wide variety of disciplines to transform our ambitious visions into reality: ranging from internal manufacturing experts all the way to world-famous physicians for performing clinical trials. We are looking for an experienced machine learning and AI scientist to join our team to work on a range of diagnostic technologies.Candidates should describe prior research and development expertise in their cover letter, with descriptions of the types of technologies and processes they have familiarity with. This candidate will have a leadership role in the team, helping to manage and oversee day-to-day progress as well as longer-term strategy and planning. The ideal candidate is strongly self-motivated and finds themselves often engrossed and passionate about their work.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Creating novel algorithms specialized for applications relevant to our diagnostic systems.Prototyping machine learning and signal processing pipelines for our relevant applications to improve diagnostic quality.Working with other researchers and engineers inside the project to build and quickly validate machine learning algorithms with simulations, and data from our real-world hardware systems.Staying abreast of state-of-the-art algorithms and generate advances beyond the state of the art.
Qualifications
PhD in computer science or equivalent experience.Expertise in machine learning, optimization, deep neural networks.Experience with developing machine learning algorithms for real world applications.Experience preparing and applying real world data to machine learning based systems.Solid mathematical background.Experience with time series analysis algorithms is preferred.Interdisciplinary team collaboration experience is preferred.Programming experience with Python, C++, MATLAB etc.
