The team is looking for a Licensing Coordinator to support the in-house licensed business. This person will work alongside the Licensing Associate and support the Hot Topic licensing team. This role offers administrative support as well as communication and follow-ups with internal teams and external licensing partners.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Oversee all aspects of the licensed product process from concept to distribution for multiple licensesPhotograph and ship samplesTrack compliance and adherence to all contractual requirements with the Licensing AssociateUnderstand contract terms and monitor the status from negotiation through executionCoordinate and maintain accuracy of product tracking sheets, licensor submission portals, sales reports and SKU set upAssist Licensing Associate with forecasting and royalty report reviewMain contact for internal communication regarding contractual rights and obligationsAttend internal and external meetings, and respond to follow ups as neededServe as the point person for licensor requests, and work closely to communicate key issues and resolve potential issuesSpecial projects and other duties as assignedWHAT YOU'LL NEED
Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experienceLicensing understanding a plusHeavy data entry familiarityMust have strong attention to detail for compliance and audit purposesHigh level of organization and ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlinesExcellent time management skills to help successfully prioritize and complete projects on timeStrong follow-throughProven communication skills; must be articulate and professional both in written and verbal formsAbility to work proactively, independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environmentRegularly required to sit, standOccasionally will lift/move samples up to 10 pounds$19.25 - $20.25 an hour
